ABOUT US
Fix.Adopt.Save. brings together seven local animal welfare organizations, the Alliance for Companion Animals, and a project manager to promote and increase adoptions, fostering, and access to spay/neuter services while raising awareness about the rising number of homeless pets in Maricopa County. A collaboration providing proactive solutions to keep pets in their homes, off the streets, and out of Valley shelters.
THE INITIATIVE
Since its inception in 2012, Fix.Adopt.Save. and its Alliance members increased accessibility to spay and neuter services across Maricopa County which has contributed to the decrease of intake at Alliance member shelters. As a proactive approach to pet homelessness, Fix.Adopt.Save. continues to provide spay and neuter wellness services to the pets of Maricopa County residents through support from the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust. Fix.Adopt.Save. has funded over $5M in spay and neuter surgeries.
The Fix.Adopt.Save. initiative and collaboration efforts between all Alliance members provide the pets within Maricopa County shelters and rescue system a greater opportunity to find their furr-ever home! These collaborations are crucial in our efforts to save more lives.
Since 2012, Fix.Adopt.Save. has successfully decreased euthanasia rates by 88%, saving an additional 32,000+ animals. Fostering and volunteering are key to saving more animals.
